Vandegrift Job Opening for Head Coach |

Boys Varsity Head Coach Available: 2009-2010

Position Description:
Vandegrift High School is the newest High School in Leander ISD. It will open with freshmen and sophomores in the fall of 2009 and grow to include seniors in the fall of 2011. VHS will start it inaugural lacrosse season in the spring of 2010.
Vandegrift is looking for an experienced lacrosse player/coach to help start its lacrosse program and help it grow eventually into a strong DII or DI program. VHS has a very dedicated board and a solid tradition of lacrosse at the youth level with good players feeding into the program. The Vipers will play in the Texas High School Lacrosse League (THSLL) Central Division.
Coaching and/or playing experience is required. We are looking for someone to help develop the players in a positive way and grow the sport.
Administrative duties working with the board, team practices, scheduling games. This is a paid position through the parents booster club. Salary: To be discussed. Appointment: Part-Time, the season runs November through May with some additional administrative responsibilities in the off season.

Westlake Lacrosse Seeking New Head Coach |

The Westlake Boys Lacrosse Organization announces the formal posting of the position of head coach for the boys high school lacrosse program for Westlake High School . Westlake is a 5A high school located in Austin, Texas , with established varsity and junior varsity lacrosse programs as well as an established feeder program. The successful candidate for this position will oversee the varsity and junior varsity teams and specifically serve as head varsity coach. The successful candidate will serve as the the primary focal point of the high school program and will oversee a small group of assistant head coaches. Prospective applicants should be able to demonstrate solid coaching credentials and be a communicator and leader capable of appropriately representing the high school lacrosse program with the larger WHS and Westlake lacrosse communities. DII Coordinator Position Open |

The THSLL board is now accepting applications to fill the position of Central District DII Coordinator for the 2009/10 and 20010/11 seasons. Attached are the roles and responsibilities of the position and a conflict of interest statement that applies to all THSLL board positions. The candidate might not have THSLL or lacrosse experience, however it may be helpful in order for the successful candidate to be productive and see his efforts as rewarding.

This posting will close on March 31th and at such time the Board will interview applicants with an attempt to fill the position by May 11, 2009.

THSLL Member Teams
The THSLL
board met this evening to discuss playoff schedule options. After
considering all obstacles and challenges in adjusting the schedule
with the current delay, the Board of Directors made the decision
to hold District Playoffs between May 11-14 and hold the State
Championships on May 15, 16 and 17th. The Championships will be
held in Austin at House Park field.
