The McNeil Maverick Lacrosse team is pleased to announce the hiring of Erik Liberatore as their new Head Coach for the 2010-2011 season. Coach Liberatore comes to us from New Hampshire with a wealth of knowledge, playing and coaching experience, both at the high school and college levels. Coach Liberatore played four years at New England College where he earned All Conference honors at LSM. He graduated in 2004 with a bachelors degree in Political Science.

“We are excited to move forward in our lacrosse program with the hiring of Erik Liberatore,” said Lewis Smith, McNeil Lacrosse Athletic Program Director. “Erik has proven with his prior experience that he is capable of taking teams to the next level and he is excited about this opportunity with McNeil. His energy, determination and competitive spirit were clear during the interview process and he has already generated excitement with student-athletes during his short time here in Austin. We are looking forward to welcoming Erik as part of our lacrosse community.”
